Beverly Isom, Director of Policy and Advocacy at Operation Food Search (OFS), develops and implements OFS’s policy platform aimed at addressing long-term solutions to the problem of hunger. Beverly will share her extensive experience in communications and political campaigns with attendees to show attendees how they can make a difference in their community through Advocacy.

Rachel Hassani, a JLSL Member, will be co-hosting to speak about lobbying and her wealth of experience in offices in the legislative, regulatory and executive branches of Missouri government.

Attendees will have the opportunity to complete an advocacy action during the training to help get comfortable engaging and supporting a particular cause or policy.
